Turn NIS2 Compliance into a Strategic Advantage
Information Management
Turn NIS2 compliance into a strategic cornerstone of your information management strategy.
Are you spending too much time searching for the right information? Do you sometimes get lost in multiple systems trying to find what you need? What you might be looking for is a Content Services Platform.
Siloed information in different applications makes it difficult to search, access, and use data, creating significant obstacles in digital transformation.* So how can organisations help their employees to more easily find, share, and reuse information while improving operational excellence? The answer is by using a Content Services Platform (CSP).
You may have heard, ‘Content Services’ or ‘Content Services platform (CSP)’ is used synonymously with what we would traditionally call Enterprise Content Management (ECM). However, the key difference is that modern Content Services take a service-driven approach to managing enterprise content. Whereas traditional ECM focuses on the capture, storage, and management of content, Content Services extends this to ask, “How can users access the information they need, when and where they need it, and in a format that’s easy for them to work with within the applications they are most used to working in?”
A Content Services Platform acts as your default access point for content residing in all types of systems within the organization. Rather than storing all a company’s information within a single platform, the CSP integrates apps and services to access, work with, and manage information wherever it resides. This means that “role-based” subject-specific views of content can be created within the Content Services Platform but also means that the same information can be seen from other lead applications such as ERPs. Doing so simplifies and enhances how content is used – allowing teams to share documents more easily and securely and users to work within familiar systems without missing out on important information and context.
A CSP and more specifically its user interface reduces the need to “jump” between different programs to perform tasks, thus shortening lead times in, for example, case management. It can also automate preparations for meetings, enhance security, and simplify document management in Office365, and other business-related applications. AI tools ensure that employees’ sharing of documents that violate relevant regulations in, for example, MS Teams, can be prevented and/or detected.
If you are seeking a solution to enhance operational efficiency and streamline collaboration, Content Services is the answer. Modern Content Services Platforms, unlike traditional Enterprise Content Management, prioritize user-centric access to information, creating a seamless experience for employees. With the ability to access all relevant data in a single view, connect information with processes, and reduce time spent on searching, a Content Services Platform becomes your information window into a more productive and efficient organization.
