Greencarrier Group is a family-owned, international transport and logistics company headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden. The group encompasses seven entities and operates in 15 countries.
With a team of approximately 300 employees, Greencarrier provides global logistics solutions through its networks and strong partnerships with trusted agents worldwide. The company believes in possibilities and is driven by a strong commitment to sustainability, knowledge, and innovation.
Challenge
Following a company restructuring, Greencarrier lost access to its previous integration platform (xTrade), creating an urgent need to replace the system without disrupting daily operations.
The business sought a future-proof integration platform that could scale with business growth but lacked in-house integration expertise. The company needed a reliable partner to take strategic ownership of both implementation and ongoing development.
Solution
Swedwise implemented the xT integration platform in combination with the Inobiz DS mapping tool. To ensure a smooth transition, approximately 15 active integration flows were migrated from the old solution.
Since then, Greencarrier’s solution has grown in step with the business. Today, the platform supports over 60 active integrations—a number that continues to grow with the addition of new customers, partners, and systems. It processes around 50,000 messages per day, primarily freight documents and administrative data.
To simplify monitoring and troubleshooting for non-technical staff, the logging and monitoring tool Nodinite is used, providing better visibility and faster support.
What is xT?
xT is an integration platform designed to streamline information-based processes by connecting systems and parties through messages, which are information packages that carry any data via various communication protocols or APIs.
Originally developed for military applications, xT is built for security, ease of configuration, adaptability, and high throughput. These features ensure clear separation of message flows while providing a secure and easily manageable overview.
The platform supports both internal and external system connections, facilitating synchronous and asynchronous data exchange. xT is compatible with a wide range of communication protocols and security standards.
Result
Greencarrier now has a stable and scalable integration solution that has enabled both automation and efficiency gains. Manual work has been significantly reduced, and several external services have been replaced by internal processes, resulting in direct cost savings.
Thanks to the partnership with Swedwise, Greencarrier is well-equipped to continue its integration journey, which is viewed as a critical strategic factor for future growth.
